REFUND POLICY
(a) Right to Cancel: The Student has the right to cancel this enrollment agreement within 45 days from their first scheduled class as defined by the Academy. The Notice of Cancellation must be submitted to the Academy in writing. The Student's attendance of class, either in-person or online, does not affect their Right to Cancel.

(b) Full Refund: If the Student submits a Notice of Cancellation before their first scheduled class, they will receive a 100% refund of any paid "Program Fee" and/or "Course Fee" (excluding the non-refundable Registration Fee). Refunds will be issued within 30 days of the Academy receiving the Notice of Cancellation in writing.

(c) Pro-Rata Refund: If the Student submits a Notice of Cancellation in writing after their first scheduled class, they will receive a pro-rata refund based on the number of scheduled classes completed in their relevant course or program (excluding the non-refundable Registration Fee). Refunds will be issued within 30 days of the Academy receiving the Notice of Cancellation.

(d) Program/Course Fee Credit: If the Student does not submit a Notice of Cancellation within 45 days of their first scheduled class, they may opt to receive a pro-rata credit toward another program or course. The credit must be used within 90 days of the Academy receiving the Notice of Cancellation.

(e) No Refund (Single Payment): If the Student does not submit a Notice of Cancellation within 45 days of their first scheduled class, they are not entitled to a refund.

(f) No Refund (Payment Plan): If the Student does not submit a Notice of Cancellation within 45 days of their first scheduled class, they are not entitled to a refund. The Student must pay any remaining "Program Fee" and/or "Course Fee" amount owed to the Academy within 30 days.

(a) Temporary Pause of Studies. Upon completion of an Individual Course, Students enrolled in a multi-course Program may opt to pause their enrollment for up to 90 days.

2.3 REFUND CALCULATION

(a) The pro-rata refund will be calculated based on the number of classes completed divided by the number of total classes enrolled.

(b) Example. Student requests refund after completing 3 classes out of 10. Student receives 70% of their tuition.

2.4 REFUND PROCESSING

The Academy requires a maximum of 30 days to process and issue refunds. If a refund request is made within 30 days of the payment, it will be refunded to the original payment method, such as a credit or debit card. However, if a refund request is made after 30 days of payment, the refund will be issued via check, with a 3% processing fee deducted.

2.5 UNUSED CREDITS

(g) Credit Options for Cancellation after 45 Days: In the event that the student submits a Notice of Cancellation after the expiration of the 45-day period from their first scheduled class, the Academy acknowledges that there may be valid circumstances warranting consideration for alternative remedies. The Academy, in its discretion, may offer the following credit options to students seeking cancellation:

(i) Program/Course Credit: The Academy may provide a pro-rata credit towards another program or course offered by the institution. The value of the credit will be calculated based on the student's completion progress within the relevant course or program. Factors such as the number of classes completed and the academic value derived from the completed coursework will be taken into account. The specific credit amount and conditions will be communicated to the student upon review of their individual circumstances.

(ii) Credit Usage Period: Any credit granted by the Academy must be utilized within a specified period, typically 90 days, from the date the Notice of Cancellation is received by the Academy. The student is responsible for scheduling and attending the program or course within this credit usage period.

By offering these credit options, the Academy aims to provide flexibility and accommodate the student's educational needs, while also ensuring a fair and reasonable resolution. The decision regarding the credit eligibility and the available options will be communicated to the student in a timely and transparent manner. Please note that the provision focuses solely on credit options as an alternative remedy for cancellations beyond the initial 45-day period.
