Day 1: Synths and Sound
What is a synthesizer? Exploring the properties of sound. Timbre. Exploring the parts of the synth - Oscillators, Filters, Envelopes. ADSR.
Day 2: Modulation Movement
Modulating with LFOs, Envelopes, and “performance” modulations using sources such as after touch and velocity. How to create bass and lead sounds.
Day 3: Applying Effects and Shaping Your Sound
Shaping your sounds even further with effects.
Creating chords sounds ( i.e. pads, stab synths, etc)
Using timbre to express a feeling. Shaping your sound to express an idea.
